This page explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website, and why.
Hosting
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you open a page, IONOS processes technically necessary data in server log files: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in delivering the website securely and reliably. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider.
Contact form and sign-up
When you submit the form, your name, email address, the level you chose and your message are processed in order to answer your enquiry or class sign-up. The details are sent via the server of our hosting provider IONOS as an email to hallo@bachata-mz.de and stored in that mailbox; they are not stored on the website itself.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) and, for a class sign-up, steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by email to hallo@bachata-mz.de.
Your data is deleted as soon as the enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention periods apply.
If you write me an email, your details are stored in order to handle your enquiry. The mailbox is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR.
Map (OpenStreetMap)
The contact section embeds a map by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge CB4 0WS, United Kingdom). When the map loads, your IP address is transferred to the OpenStreetMap servers.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in making the venue easy to find. See the privacy policy of the OpenStreetMap Foundation for details.
Links to Instagram
This website links to Instagram profiles. These are plain links, not embedded content: data is only transferred to Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) once you click a link. From then on, Instagram’s privacy policy applies.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking services. No external fonts are loaded; images and videos are served from our own hosting.
Your rights
You have the right to access your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.
Just write to hallo@bachata-mz.de. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one where you live.
